Sticks and Stones Camp (8/7/2015)

Day Three

Yet another week of camp has gone by and these 6 - 8 year old mountain bikers continue to impress everyone! We did a bike check, geared up and did our usual warm-up before heading out to do some mountain biking.

One of the elements that continued to be popular this week was finding different geocaches around our biking routes.  Pictured below are the riders surrounding the cache entitled "Gnome Home," and a close up of "Huck," the resident gnomes, pebble house.

After we visited a few of our favorite loops to bike, we rewarded the riders for doing such an awesome job by making a pit stop to the Creamery for an ice cream cone.  Pictured below are a few additional shots of the kids riding around with their bicycling buddies throughout the final day.  They were all a blast to have at camp and to watch everyone grow into more confident mountain bikers. There will be some serious mountain bikers out of this group in the very near future!

Enjoy the photos!
