Sticks and Stones Camp (8/5/2015)

Day Two

Day two was filled with another exciting day of riding mountain bikes! As usual to start the day we checked the bikes to make sure they were safe to ride.  Then we took the bikers on a warm-up loop until we arrived at a location to practice riding over obstacles.  Following that we ventured into the woods and went to an awesome scenic route where we told the riders that we were going to go on a treasure hunt, aka Geocaching.

To some of the riders this was a new concept, but to a few others, they were familiar with what that entailed. If you are not familiar with Geocaching, hopefully this link will inform you on how you and your family can find one of the 2.6 million secret caches worldwide!
At the end of the day the bikers were wore out! The minute we got back to the parking lot one of the riders put his bike down and fell to the ground and said they were "Soooo tired," I'm sure they are currently outside running around somewhere!

Also, email rfurmanek@yahoo.com if you are interested in purchasing one of the new performance Sticks and Stones t-shirts! Or option #2, you can click on the MyLocker link and design your own clothing with the Sticks and Stones logo on it!
